Download the Machines Multiplayer Anti Lag Patch ! !

The Machines Multiplayer Anti Lag Patch found its origin in an idea by Jeballi. (We found it here)

Judas and myself have made this into a little patch that everyone playing machines online should install.
The MMALP is tested by Judas and me. It makes the multiplayer go way smoother ! ! ! (Reduces LAG BigTime!!!)
Unzip and double click! Thats all ! (ONLY WINDOWS)
It changes some Register settings.

If you got any trouble let me know!!!

Download here: AntiLag.zip

Dont go changing these settings on your own... If 2 players have different settings the effect will be reduced!!!

We didn't test it with 56K connection though


So we need some guiny pigs!


oh, and what it does:
It edits the Regedit files, Normally you send 400 Bytes per second and 4 Packets per second


We turned it into 1200Bytes and 10 Packets Per second

Result? NO LAG, or when you are in 1st person, Minimal lag  (minimal is allmost NOTHING!!!)

Any higher might lead to packet loss...
Resulting into MORE LAG THEN BEFORE!!

This was invented a very long time ago.... I don't feel you have the right to stick a name on it and claim you made it, Har de har harr. I think Jeballi should get more credit than anybody for this.

I downloaded it, and I noticed no changes.

That's probably because JadedLink didn't download it, but whatever.   =)

AI players ARE allowed in multiplayer... in fact, I was molested by one in my latest multiplayer match.

Yes this was based on Jeballi's idea... We just made it work beter...
We got a saying here: 'Beter goed gejat, dan slecht bedacht' this translates into as much as 'Its beter to steal something good, rather then make something bad up...'

by the way The ANTI LAG effect is highly dependable on your internet connection though.

BTW2 Why is Judas annoying?

BTW3 Aquarilis? YOU LOST TO JUDAS TOO!!! :-D

That was my fault.  I im'ed him and it took him out of his game.  And he didn't get molsted by the computer.  The computer didn't do anything to you.  Attacked a few times, but my ion cannon to your bunch of reapers really hurt you.  all your off. and def. out.  Then I went and and raped you.  Again, shouldn't have gone full force though.  Oh well.

Yeah, the red team harassed me a few times, and I couldn't expand as well because it would attack violentley if I went close to the base. Plus I had a really narrow peninsula to work with, i'm surprised that I was able to fit so many buildings in one area!

it edits the registry values. It can't edit the mach1.met file(which has the AI's)
