What are thoooose?
The Machines Demo on the Turok 2 demo is what introduced me to the game. I saw Turok 2 remastered on Steam a few days ago, too. I really hope someone does that for Machines.
Machines will live on.
Oh no, I passed the one-month rollback point.
I'm on Windows 10. I got the patch installed and using d3drm. Compatibility mode on for Windows XP.
When starting up Machines for the first time, it made me install a "Windows Feature" named DirectPlay or something.
Anyway, it looked like the screen was moved down and to the right, way off-center.
Framerate even in the menu is terrible.
Opening the options menu produces pink artifacts everywhere, and exiting the menu crashes the game.
I'll take screenshots later.
Edit: Managed to get it working by disabling the desktop scaling thing, but the framerate still makes it completely unplayable. Can't even navigate the menu very well.
Reminded me of this.... Skip to 3:14?
Probably irrelevant, but eh...
Those values are a bit too high lol. Drop 'em down to 100 or something.
VirtualStore seems to be a place where standard accounts store temporary files when they don't have permission to overrwrite the current folder. Try and go to the current folder, find a "compatibility files" button.
If you have trouble just edit the security permissions of the Machines folder and check "Full control" for normal users. That should write files to the folder directly and not to the virtualstore.
Edit: Files in the VirtualStore are used first (higher priority) before whatever's in the current folder.
Is it possible to allow Healing chargers/Superchargers to regenerate armor, as well?
Yep. It's just Judas Warlord spam, really. You gotta establish resources quick or you'll be overrun.
That thing's sugar and cream with lemon flavor lol... (aka High Blood Pressure pie)
I've only ever had egg pie and apple pie, and I like 'em both. Yeah... pie isn't really a thing here.
WHY DID YOU BRING THEM BACK??
