Can someone help me with that? It just isn't the same if the units don't talk to you or basically not having any sound apart from music.</p>

Compatibility mode might be causing your problem. Have you tried running without it?</p>

<p dir="auto">On windows 7 people generally had to install xp patch to the machines directory and put d3drm.dll there as well. (Doubt this will fix sound issues though)</p>

Perfect! That was to contextualize the problem. In my case, I didn't use any compatibility settings at all (I didn't use any of the options available in the <em>properties</em> --&gt; <em>compatibility</em> window). Yet, you might need to actually use them. Another possibility is that you might need (in case you haven't) to run the program as an <em>administrator</em>. I hope this helps.<br />

<p dir="auto">Hi! You could provide technical  information regarding your computer. This might be of use in order to solve the problem. Sometimes, the installation process and the compatibility settings  can cause this kind of issues.</p>

I'm not sure how you got the music to work, but we've always dealt with there being no music, but with the sounds working. I can't think of a fix, but here's a free thread-bump.</p>
