HOW TO PLAY ON THE INTERNET 2018
-
HELLO GUYS! I'm from Poland and I have a big request to you. Firstly I have an orginal copy of this game and my friend have "Machines" from this site. How I can play with him in 2018? Please help us!!! :(

Hello! So glad to see people still finding this little forum. To answer your question though, I'm afraid the only way that might work is through LAN, seeing as modems would be much harder (and for some impossible without doing some internal wiring). I believe if your friend brings his computer to your house or vice versa, you should be able to connect because you are on the same Wi-Fi. If this doesn't work wirelessly, buy a couple of LAN cables (varying length for whatever you need) and plug them from your computers into the Wi-Fi router, which would establish a wired connection. Best of luck and please let me know if this works.

What about suggestions from this topic http://wiredforwar.org/topic/107/multiplayer-setup-problems/3? What's more I'm from Poland too, so we can get in touch and try it out together as I own the original discs too and have played some multiplayer games.
You could also try searching for possible solutions here: http://forums.wiredforwar.org/index.php?board=29.0. For example one that I've found says:
- Yesterday I tried to play with Automatic, but we couldn't find each others game. Then we set the Hamachi Network to a Home network, instead of public network. Then he was able to join my game.

@X-Lord It's work!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! And what about NightDive Studios? It will be a remake or remastered of this AMAZING GAME?

@BeVeRenT- I checked the wiki recently. It was updated and says nightdive should be doing it this year. Hopefully anyway...

I can’t wait... next question is about multiplayer and option „broadcast alliances” How it works? If I’m playing with my friends I can set up the game and choose who will be friendly to me? For example 2vs2? Thanks and have a nice day!

What worked for @BeVeRenT- and what he forgot to mention was the IPXwrapper http://www.solemnwarning.net/ipxwrapper/ and hamachi network. This allowed him to choose "IPX CONNECTION FOR DIRECTPLAY" in the multiplayer options.
Glad to hear :)
Try this AntiLag patch and see if the connection is more stable: AntiLag.reg
