not working anymore in windows 10

it worked before but now it is complaining about being unable to set minimum resolution 640 x 480 and 16 bit. i have set that in compatibility settings but it still complains and refuses to run. how can i get around that? it says that memory can not be read from as well. that means that it is somehow detecting the Graphics memory as my other pc have 16 gigabytes as well but only 2 gigabytes of vram and there it Works. my New desktop have 8 gigabytes of vram and it does not work there.
