I used to mod on the original wiredforwar forum.
Judas and meself managed to make improvements in connection speed and make multiplayer much more fun :)
There were even plans to make an underground Machines 2!Im just curious... Whatever happened to Judas...?

Good day! I remember in the old forum was a lot of material (modding tool, client auto update, etc.). There was an attempt to recreate the second part. The project was called OpenMachines, on youtube you can still find this channel, but it is no longer updated. Were trying to create a game on the Unity3D engine? By the way something similar was done in ROBOCRAFT, but alas it is not a strategy.

Hai guys, Game here from the old forum. That weird newbie who kept asking tons of questions lol. I'm currently the only guy on the Wired for War Wiki, could use help building that up in case Steam picks up Machines.

@Gameuser10 Sidenote: could you ask that guy to make a resized version of 1920 x 1080? xD Not sure if I can manage it all by myself and resizing his work manually would mean loss of quality... Without your name in it, that is =3

@StonerHate Well.. the source file I gave him was the Machines Wallpaper, 1024 x 768. You want me to ask him to do it again without the text?
Also... I mod this game called "Halo: Combat Evolved," thought it would be fun to stick MWFW sfx in it: AI Battle -
