Visual errors

Hello,
I was so excited when I found out about this forum and a downloadlink somewhere. Did what had to be done so the game and menus were loading I was like ooh finallyyyyy, until I tried to play it.
I can barely see anything..
I'm using windows 8.1, already tried it with compatibilitymode on windows xp and also on windows 98 mode.
Back in '99 I had the original game on discs and played it on a windows 98 pc.
Somehow, even then, the same visual errors already occured frequently, not always, but more like 6/10 times
Anyone who might know the problem or a solution here?

I am having the same problem, everything else works fine, the menu works good. Thanks for the download ,I was WAY excited to play this game. Ive tried every which way to change the compatibility settings, but to no avail, I keep getting the same visual error as the picture shown in the previous post above mine. :(... So if there's anybody out there that could help out, that'd be AWESOME!! :)

I don't know how to fix this issue currently, but it might help others to solve it (or at least figure out what causes it) if you post information about your PC hardware and software (e.g. graphics card model, graphics driver version, Windows version, etc.)

youre windows doesn´t support youre files. reconvert them to play the game.
win 8.1 can read the in game files but have problemes to emulating it becaus the files data are very complicated coded so thats win 8.1 can´t play it without a problem.... means win 8.1 + machines = performence issue but win 7 + machines = no problems ^^
