Encrypted's Stuff Thread

@Ddc_Cl Yup, something like that.

Hey, look, a FREAKIN' WALL. Or, more accurately, a FREAKIN' ENERGY WALL.
Featuring:
- The Energy Wall
- The Warlord
- The "Beta Style" Reapers
- The Energy Generator (not visible to make this scene 9001% more dramatic)
How does it work? Simple: you place an energy generator somewhere, then you can build energy walls. These walls are indestructible and if you make them outline your territory, building or whatever, they'll also make it impossible for airborne units to shoot your stuff down. In addition, they block enemy superweapons if you outline your territory and let your units pass and shoot through the walls freely! However, they can't be built if they're too far away from the generator and will die as soon as the generator supporting them is destroyed. Plus, well, you can't build on your walls. Additionally, the generators use your BMUs to fuel theirselves (you can turn all generators off if you don't need them) and turning them on doesn't activate them instantly. To explain this in a more... illustrative way, I made this image:
Where:
- Black colour is any indestructible obstacle
- Red colour is where you CAN'T build a generator (because it'll be impossible to destroy it and it'll ruin the fun)
- Green colour is where you CAN build a generator (because it must be accessible to the enemy, balanced, isn't it?)
- Blue colour is the generator's "wall supporting" range
- Yellow colour is an example of a wall you can place (you can't block your generator with those fancy energy walls, ya know?)
Well, that is it. Whaddya think, eh?

@Encrypted Too much OP for my taste i would prefer that have life (can be high) and that no consum UBM
-
@Ddc_Cl Well, these are only suggestions, so feel free to change it the way you want to see it.
-
@Encrypted Ok
-
@Ddc_Cl Well, you know, I thought it can be invincible but burn your BMUs - it's like, ya know, resource managing instead of "place and forget 'til the enemy attacks".

Introducing my overly complex ideas on how machines actually perceive anything!
Let's take a look at a Reaper's head, for example.-
Communication systems - since all the machines are somehow able to communicate with the Controller and other drones but not with the enemy machines, I thought this can be logically explained. These communication systems would not work at all without the other sensors. All the machines are linked to a network and this network uses some frequencies. The enemy uses a similiar network with different frequencies. The machines might be able to communicate with other beings eventually, since the Eden 4 Controller actually sent messages to the Midian Controller and vice-versa.
-
Solar matrix - all machines are somehow able to see. The solar matrix allows them to collect informations about light and spot the differences between other light frequencies or something. It then sends these informations to the reformable rendering matrix and gives the machines... something similiar to sight.
-
Reformable rendering matrix - the reformable rendering matrix is an interesting device. It sends impulses to the machine's... brain? Uh, processor, CPU... whatever, you get the idea. The machine is then able to see through the rendering matrix, with some help from the halogen lamps.
-
Halogen lamps - let's face it, machines in Machines had something similiar to eyes. The halogen lamps are what making these things look like actual eyes. They glow very brightly. This actually makes sense - it's a built-in system which allows machines to see things while in darkness. The solar matrix is perfectly matte which makes the machines look like they... well, it makes them look like they look. What?
-
Super-hard glass - the halogen lamps and the reformable rendering matrixes are hidden behind a tough yet transparent structure similiar to what humans call "glass". This structure is needed not only because it protects the machine's... eyes or something... from danger, but also because the machine's head is filled with a very toxic fluid which makes the contents of its head work properly. Yes, even the solar matrix wouldn't work as good without that fluid. In addition, this fluid is making the halogen lamps glow without requiring energy at all.
-
Strong casing - the casing of the machine's head is basically the only thing that keeps its contents from being spilled. It is very hard, durable and stuff. You know the deal.
-
Other sensors - other sensors allow the machine to hear stuff and see things a human cannot see. Well, they can't see these things at all aswell, but it helps. Let's say it's... higher perception. Sadly, most of these sensors don't work on longer ranges and cannot "catch" silent... uh, you get it, waves, things, whatever, so machines still can't see or hear as far as a normal human can. On the other hand, what do you have these radars for? Or your Controller? No, really, he's the guide here. The radars are just helping you to not get vaporized at all. I mean, the machines cannot utilize these radars properly, so why even bother mentioning these?
You see, this is where thinking gets you. And that's just about the head and the "Higher Perception Systems" (HPS) of our favourite units. Favourite, favorite... heck, I'm used to the first way of... uh... writing that word down, I guess.

Is it possible for anyone to extract the models from the game?
